Shade that makes the outside usable again
An aluminium pergola turns a terrace, garden or poolside into somewhere you can actually sit for most of the year. Unlike timber it does not warp, split or need resealing every season, and unlike steel it does not rust in coastal air.
What you get with aluminium pergolas
An aluminium pergola turns a terrace, garden or poolside into somewhere you can actually sit for most of the year. Unlike timber it does not warp, split or need resealing every season, and unlike steel it does not rust in coastal air.
The choice that matters is the roof. A fixed roof gives constant shade and rain cover. A motorised louvred roof lets you rotate the blades — full shade at midday, open to the sky in the evening, closed and draining when it rains.
- Motorised, remote and app control
- Rain sensor automation
- Concealed rainwater drainage
- Integrated LED lighting and fans
- Motorised or fixed side screens
- Any RAL powder-coated finish

What we build into every set
Motorised louvred roofs
Rotating aluminium blades on a quiet motor, controlled by remote, wall switch or phone, with an optional rain sensor that closes the roof automatically.
Integrated rainwater drainage
Water is carried through the blades into concealed channels inside the posts, so a closed roof in a downpour does not simply shed water onto the seating.
Engineered for wind
Post sizes, fixings and blade spans calculated for the exposure of the actual site — important on a rooftop or an open coastal plot.
Lighting and screening built in
Dimmable perimeter LEDs, heaters, fans, and motorised or fixed side screens wired within the frame with no visible cabling.
Types of aluminium pergolas we supply
Which of these suits the project is a decision we make together at survey stage, against the opening and how it will be used.
Motorised louvred pergolas
The adjustable option — rotate for the sun angle, close for rain, open fully on a cool evening.
Fixed-roof pergolas and canopies
Solid or insulated roof panels giving permanent shade and full rain cover for car ports, entrances and outdoor dining.
Poolside and garden structures
Freestanding structures over a pool deck or lawn, finished to resist chlorine and salt exposure.
Custom-made pergolas
Non-standard geometry — wrapping a corner, following an irregular boundary or spanning an awkward span — designed to the plot rather than to a catalogue size.
From first visit to handover
Consultation & site survey
We visit the property, measure every opening and talk through how the space is actually used before anything is priced.
Design & specification
Drawings, configurations, glass specification and finishes, set against orientation and exposure rather than picked from a catalogue.
Fabrication & quality check
Profiles are cut and assembled to the surveyed figures in our own workshop, and every unit is checked before it leaves.
Installation & handover
Our own installation team fits, seals and adjusts on site, then walks you through operation and maintenance.

Aluminium Pergolas questions
Yes. Closed blades seal against each other and drain through the frame into the posts. Very heavy rain combined with strong wind can push a little water through the seams, which is normal for a louvred system.
It needs a sound fixing. On an existing concrete terrace we anchor directly into the slab. On soft ground or for a large freestanding structure, pad foundations are set first.
Yes — a wall-mounted pergola uses the building for support on one side and posts on the other. We check that the wall construction can carry the load before specifying it.
